Combine In Mis-Administration And Defeat In Elections As Well

The UPA partners have been forced to limit themselves to the least performance ever.

Hyderabad: The mis-administration by UPA ensured that all the partners of the UPA including the congress as well as the new alliance partners face similar anger from the voters of the country.

The last 10 years of mis-administration by UPA is famous for numerous scams, unbearable inflation. The other diseases being forced on the country included all round de-growth in development activities and industrial development.

The government has been neither responsible nor responsive. The administration did not bother to listen to the difficulties faced by the people because of bad ruling during the UPA regime.

After patiently waiting for 10 years, the voters of India got an excellent opportunity to teach congress and UPA a lesson. The people forced UPA to restrict itself to less than 60 MP seats (congress less than 50 seats).

The result of worse administration by UPA resulted in all the UPA partners losing heavily. All the partners in the alliance had to heavily come down on their performance. Each of the party recorded loss from their existing positions.

  • Congress won 44 seats (loss of 162 from their present strength).
  • NCP (headed by Sharad Pawar) won 5 seats (lost 4 from existing strength).
  • RLD (headed by Ajit Singh) could not open account (but lost its existing strength of 5 MPs).
  • J&K National Conference (in Jammu Kashmir) lost all its existing 3 MPs.
  • For extending outside support to NPA, Mulayam’s Samajwadi Party lost 18 of its existing strength whereas Mayawati’s BSP lost 21 seats.

The main causes for the above losses can be attributed to the obvious reasons:

  • UPA mis-administration
  • People felt that UPA is responsible for the present state of affairs in the country.
  • NDA has been show an alternative so that people decided to remove UPA from government.
  • The ‘development’ agenda projected by NDA has been well received and accepted by the people of the country.
  • The personal attacks, hate speeches, use of communal and caste cards by partners and supporters of UPA has been rejected outright by the people.

The UPA its partners have time up to next 5 years to mend their ways and show their concern for the people of the country so that they might get a chance to rule the country once again.
