We are nearing a fast-paced future where LTE-Advanced will begin to usefaster standard. In the US, AT&T has developed its LTE-A, but device that can use the new faster LTE technology data service is the mobile hot-spot AT&T Unite Pro, so they are in no hurry to start this service soon.

New Delhi: The first LTE-A network was launched by SK Telecom a year ago along with an LTE-A the mobile device Samsung Galaxy S4 to start this business on high gear. Telstra is Australia’s largest wireless carrier, whichis also developing faster network technology and it has announced that it has achieved the speedof 450Mbps on a live network.

The speeds were achievedwith the help of aggregated spectrum of 1800MHz and 2600MHz frequency bands. With 20MHz channels in use, there were three side-by-side lanes for data transfer. While 450Mbps falls short of the record, which was set by Sprint and Nokia, but the big difference is that Telstra’s tests done in real environment.

Implementation of this technology will not be that fast, but the expectations are high to deliver data speeds which are unmatched today. The good news is that technology is working, the bad news is that users will have to wait for few more years.

Apple And Google Enter Into New Era Of Cooperation

On Friday, Apple and Google announced that they have settled all patent litigation on Motorola Mobility. However, this deal does not include any licensees sharing between two firms. Both Apple and Google agreed to cooperate in patent reformation. In 2011, Google acquired Motorola for 12.5 billionbut sold off the handsets business to Lenovo in 2014. The majority of Motorola’s technology licenses will remain with Google.

This agreement confirms the dismissals of some cases which are still not solved, but it is not expected to have negative impact on Apple’s patent litigations against Samsung. In first trial, Apple was awarded $930 and in second trial was awarded $119.6 million.
