18.3.2016: Human resource development minister Smriti Irani is named the young global leader by World Economic Forum. There are other ten Indians in the list which has 187 young global leaders and these include Gaurav Gogoi from Assam. David Cameron, Jack Ma, Marissa Mayer and Larry Page are the others who were named YGL in the past. World Economic Forum said that Smriti Irani rose to become a top politician in India. Smriti Irani, 39 is the human resource minister in the cabinet of Sri Narendra Modi.

Vijay Mallya Resigned as Director of Royal Challengers Sports Private Limited

18.3.2016: Royal Challengers Bangalore informed to BCCI that Vijay Mallya has resigned as the director of RCSPL and he will be replaced by Russel Adams. However Vijay Mallya will be the chief mentor of it. Mallya was with the group since 2008 as the chairman.

The New Chairman of Honeywell Automation is Suresh Senapaty

18.3.2016: Honeywell Automation India Ltd appointed Suresh Senapaty as the new chairman. He was earlier the CFO of Wipro. He succeeds L Rao who was the chairman of board of directors from 2014 to 2016. MR L Rao was also the member of Board of Directors of HAIL till 2014. HAIL has more than twelve thousand employees in India. The prime businesses of the company are automation and control solutions, aerospace and transportation systems and specialty materials.

S Sridhar Appointed the Managing Director of Pfizer

18.3.2016: Pfizer Limited announced the appointment of S Sridhar as the new managing director. He was the chief financial officer and executive director of the company earlier. He was also with Diageo India Private Limited as Finance Director.

World Sufi Forum Inaugurated in New Delhi

18.3.2016: World Sufi Forum is inaugurated in New Delhi. It was inaugurated by prime minister of India Narendra Modi. International delegates, academicians and spiritual leader from various countries are going to participate in the four day event. The event is organized by All India Ulama and Mashiakh Board.
