Mulayam Singh Yadav to Lead the Newly Formed Party
15.04.2015: A new political party formation is announced by six parties in the country. It is said that the Samajwadi party Chief Mulayam Singh Yadav will head the newly formed party. The six parties that will merge to fight BJP are the SP, Janata Dal United, Rashtriya Janata Dal, Janata Dal Secular, Indian National Lok Dal and Samajwadi Janata Party. The name and flag of the new political party will be decided by six member committee. After the formation, the new party will have 15 Lok Sabha members and 30 Rajya Sabha members.
The First Lady Judge of Sikkim High Court is Justice Meenakshi Madan Rai
15.04.2015: Justice Meenakshi Madan Rai is appointed as the third judge of Sikkim High Court. She is the first lady judge to be sworn in Sikkim. Now the state has the full strength of three judges after one year gap. She took oath in Ashirwad Hall at Raj Bhavan in Gangtok and is supervised by Governor Srinivas Patil.
Bidyut Chakraborty, Assamese Film Director is No More
15.04.2015: Renowned Assamese film director Bidyut Chakraborthy passed away in Guwahati at the age of 55 years. He won many hearts with his successful films like Goon Goon Gaane Gaane, Raag Biraag and Dwaar. His last release was Dwaar which was released in the year 2012.
India is Number Two in One Day International Rankings
15.04.2015: Team India retained the second position in International One Day rankings. India has 116 points and is trailing behind Australia which has 122 points. South Africa is in the third place with 112 points and is followed by Sri Lanka, New Zealand, England and Pakistan.
Allan Donald Resigned as Boling Coach of South Africa
15.04.2015: The bowling coach of South Africa, Allan Donald resigned. His four year tenure has ended as the coach of the team. Allan Donald retired from cricket in 2004. He played 70 tests and 164 one day international matches. He took 330 and 164 wickets in tests and ODIs respectively. He is a right arm fast bowler.
