Tata launched GenX Nano for Rs. 2.89 lakhs – 4 Speed AMT to tackle Maruti Suzuki Alto K10, Celerio and Datsun Go

The native Indian automotive giant Tata Motors has launched one more exclusive edition of the ‘Common Man’s Car’. The manufacturer has been trying hard to make Indian buyers forget the ‘cheap’ tag from the vehicle and has succeeded appreciable in doing the same by launching more and more number of variants with exclusive features. The grand new ‘GenX Nano’ has been priced in the range of Rs. 1.99 lakhs to Rs. 2.89 lakhs only.

New edition of the Nano hatchback comes with a bunch full of cosmetic upgrades along with improvement of performance and handling. The manufacturer has also added two new paint shades to the portfolio of the vehicle and they are Sangria Red and Persian Rose respectively. The front fascia of the model comes fitted with a piano black grille along with a brand new smoked head light. The manufacturer has offered ‘Infinity – motif’ grille on the rear end along with a brand new rear bumper. As per the information, the new edition Nano hatchback offers better ground clearance than all other variants of the model launched so far. Indian buyers can choose among Beige and Black toned interiors for the new GenX Nano hatchback.

Tata GenX Nano

GenX Nano comes equipped with a three spoke steering wheel which is smaller when compared with that of previous edition variants. The hatchback comes powered with a 624 CC twin cylinder engine that is capable of generating 38.19 PS power at the peak along with 51 Nm of torque. Engine comes mated to a four speed automatic transmission gear box or a five speed manual transmission gear box by default. It is also informed that Tata is offering Auto Manual Transmission gear box with two variants of the same. As per the manufacturer, the GenX Nano hatchback is capable of delivering around 23.6 kmpl mileage on an average when mated with a manual transmission gear box whereas the same delivers around 21.9 kmpl when accompanied with an AMT gear box.
