Archana Ramasundram to Head Paramilitary Force
2.2.2016: Archana Ramasundram, IPS officer of Tamil Nadu Cadre is appointed as the Director General of Sashastra Seema Bal. She became the first woman to head paramilitary force. Archana is 58 year old. She will head SSB that guards frontiers with Bhutan and Nepal. Prior to this appointment, she was with National Crime Records Bureau as the director. Ramasundram will hold this position till September, 2017. Another IPS officer K Durga Prasad is appointed as Central Reserve Police Force director, KK Sharma is appointed as chief of BSF.
SN Prasad Takes Charge as Director of Coal India Limited
2.2.2016: Coal India Limited announced that SN Prasad has taken over as Director marketing from February 1. He succeeds BK Saxena. Saxena retired a few days ago. Prior to this appointment, S N Prasad was serving as General Manager (Sales and Marketing) in South Eastern Coalfields Limited.
Sanjay Gupta Appointed as CMO of Urban Ladder
2.2.2016: Sanjay Gupta is going to lead the marketing strategies, digital and product marketing of online furniture retailer Urban Ladder. Sanjay has twelve years of experience in branding and marketing. He is appointed as the chief marketing officer of Urban Ladder. Earlier, he worked with Marico Ltd, Purple Squirrel and Accenture.
Ashish Kumar Goel is the New GM of Eastern Railway
2.2.2016: Ashish Kumar Goel took charge as the general manager of Eastern Railways. He belongs to ISS cadre of 1979 batch. He is serving south eastern railway as the general manager. Goel obtained his mechanical engineering degree from Regional Engineering College, Ahmadabad.

2.2.2016: Priyanka Chopra’s name is included in the second list of presenters for the upcoming 88th Academy Awards. The Bollywood actress is the only one to represent India at the Oscar Ceremony. She made her international debut with Quantico, an American show. Academy awards are going to be held on 28th February, 2016 in California. Priyanka Chopra recently is honored with Padma Shri award by Indian government. She also won the People’s choice award for Quantico.
