Honda CB Shine 2015 Revealed – HET to beat Hero Glamour, TVS Phoenix, Bajaj Discover and Suzuki Slingshot

The Japanese automotive giant Honda has launched a brand new edition of Shine commuter bike with a bang. The new edition comes with a number of cosmetic upgrades and some tweaks to the engine and transmission mechanism. The first look of the vehicle has been revealed officially but the debut of production ready form will be made later this year.

Honda has revised the visor on the front and also added new body graphics on both the sides. The shape of the fuel tank has also been modified slightly and some other visual changes can also be witnessed at the first glance. The commuter is now made available in four various paint shades and they are Black, Maple Brown Metallic, Imperial Red Metallic and Geny Grey Metallic respectively. It is also informed that the manufacturer is likely to make the 2015 edition of CB Shine commuter available for sale by the end of this March most probably. The tail light on the back has also been revised and the exclusive alloy wheels make the look of the bike very attractive.

2015 CB Shine commuter bike comes powered with a 125 CC single cylinder engine that is capable of generating around 10 bhp power at the peak along with 11 Nm of torque. Engine comes mated to a four speed manual gear box by default and the vehicle comes with advanced Honda Eco Technology (HET). The HET helps the commuter in delivering better mileage figures relatively than the outgoing edition. The system consists of new pistons and oil bearings which are meant to reduce the friction between other components in the engine. The manufacturer has assured that the new Shine will be much comfortable and efficient than the previous edition of the model.

Honda has not yet revealed about the price of the 2015 CB Shine so far but we can expect slight increase in the price of the bike when compared with the former edition most probably.
