Specifications Comparison of Lava Iris X8 and Yu Yureka Smartphones
Lava listed a new handset on its official website dubbed as Iris X8. This handset is said to be an answer of Lava for the handset Yu Yureka which is launched recently. Lava Iris X8 is likely to be priced around the same range in which Yu Yureka is priced. Let us here compared the specifications of both the handsets and see which one scored better.
New Delhi: Lava Iris X8 comes with 5 inch display and Yu Yureka sports 5.5 inch display. Display resolution of both the handsets is 720 x 1280 pixels. However pixel density of Iris X8 is 294 ppi and that of Yu Yureka is 267 ppi. Both the display types are IPS LCD.
Both the handsets are powered by octa core processors. The processor of Iris X8 is 1.4 GHz MediaTek MT6592M processor and Yu Yureka is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8939 processor whose clock speed is 1.5 GHz. The processors of both the devices are backed by 2 GB RAM. Internal storage of both the devices is 16 GB and both supports micro SD via which memory can be expanded up to 32 GB.
Yu Yureka smartphones runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat operating system and Iris X8 comes out of the box with Android 4.4.4 Kitkat operating system. OS update to Android 5.0 Lollipop version is available for X8. Both the handsets support dual SIM.
Coming to the specifications, Lava Iris X8 comes equipped with 8 megapixel primary camera with auto focus. There is also 3 megapixel camera onboard. These cameras are decent for the price the handset is going to be offered. Yu Yureka has 13 megapixel camera with auto focus at rear. It also features 5 megapixel camera at front for those who love taking selfies. Yu Yureka definitely scores marks when it comes to camera specifications.
Lava Iris X8 and Yu Yureka smartphones supports EDGE, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and micro USB connectivity. Iris X8 comes packed with 2500 mAh Li-ion battery and battery under Yu Yureka is 2500 mAh Li-po battery that gives up to 8 hours talktime on 2G and up to 250 hours standby time on 2G. Lava Iris X8 will be available in white and black color options and Yu Yureka is offered in grey color.
