Mahesh And His Craze For Item Song

Mahesh Babu is becomign more famous for item songs in his movies and the trend is likely to continue in his new movie with Koratala Shiva as well.

Hyderabad: Mahesh Babu is one Tollywood hero to enjoy unstinted support form his fans and also his movie makers (producers and directors) despite his successes or failures in his career.

Mahesh has been steadily maintaining some specialities in his movie career. Mahesh genrally entertains one heroine only for single movie (Samantha as on date is the only exception). Samantha could get opportunity to work with prince for movies like Dookudu & Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu as well. Incidentally both the movies recorded good collections at the box office. However, there appeared some differences between these stars at the time of Aagadu. However, now that these differences have been sorted out, as per the latest reports, Samantha might also join Mahesh in his next film with Trivikram.

Mahesh movies are becoming famous for item song. His super hit movie Pokiri had item song by Mumaith Khan. Mahesh has been maintaining the same trend. His latest movie Aagadu has item song by Shruti Haasan. Though the movie had glamorous heroine Tamanna, Mahesh gave item song opportunity to this south beauty Shruti who aptly utilised the opportunity. After getting good marks, now she is the main lead opposite Mahesh in his forthcoming movie directed by Koratala Shiva. The movie is having working title as ‘Sreemanthudu’.

The movie scheduled to release in summer this year is also reported to have an item song. As the director wanted to give a classical touch to the song, Malayali beauty Poona is roped to do the song. Poorna became famous for Tollywood viewers with her movies like Avunu & its sequel.

Now there are further reports about the ‘pub song’. After considering many names including Hamsanandini, the porn star Sunny Leone is reported to have been roped to do the pub song. As such Mahesh movie now will have 2 special songs.

While yesteryear heroine Sukanya will be Mahesh’ s mother in the movie senior artiste Jagapathi Babu will be playing the role of Mahesh’s father in the movie.

The shooting of the movie is completing at brisk pace and the movie is scheduled to hit the screens during summer this year.
