Honda revealed 10the gen Civic Concept at NY Auto Show – Flying H Grille, LED head lights and more

The Japanese Car making Giant Honda has previewed the new Civic concept sedan at the prestigious 2015 New York Auto Show recently and the model has stunned almost everybody at the event. Honda is likely to launch a Sedan, Coupe, Si, five door variant and Type R variants of the brand new Civic series. Civic Sedan is likely to enter production by this autumn mostly.

Honda has built the new 10 generation Civic series with the global platform which is likely to be carried over to other variants of the series as well. The manufacturer has described the Facelift Civic as “Flat out, the most dynamic, the most technologically advanced and the most refined and stylish Civic we have ever made”. Honda has used lurid green paint for the exterior body of the new Civic Concept and it is also informed that the same is likely to be used for production version of Civic Facelift. Civic Concept has mesmerized visitors at the NY Auto Show completely and Mr. Guy Melville – Brown, the Chief Exterior Designer for the new Honda Civic Concept has described the design of the new concept as “Charismatic, connected and athletic, and also simple, emotional and sporty, yet timeless”. The front fascia is much lower when compared with other variants and the rear end gets the trendier rear spoiler along with a wider single exhaust. As per the information, Honda is likely to power the new Civic Concept with a 1.5 litre turbo charged VTEC engine that boasts more power output than the outgoing edition. Engine may get accompanied with a six speed manual transmission gear box for the base variants and we can also expect a CVT gear box for the higher end automatic variants mostly.
