Mahindra has been working on the project ‘Mojo’ from the past few years and it has undergone a wide number of changes over last four years. The manufacturer has revealed Mojo concept in the year 2010 and after a period of more than three years, the same has been show cased in concept form at the Delhi Auto Expo 2014 in the month of February. An enthusiast has spotted a complete unit of Mojo riding without any camouflage recently.

A lot of things have changed when we compare the concept revealed in 2010 and the concept displayed at this year’s Delhi Auto Expo. The lower seating position of the bike is much comfortable but the rear end of the seat stands pretty high. Power comes from a 296 CC four stroke, single cylinder liquid cooled engine that is capable of generating around 27 bhp power at the peak along with 25 Nm of torque. Engine comes mated with a 6 speed transmission gear box as standard and both the wheels get equipped with Pirelli Sport Demon tyres. Both the wheels get fitted with disk brakes and both consist of y shaped alloys as well. The digital console of the bike comes with trip meter, analogue tachometer, fuel meter and speedometer.

The production ready version of the model may feature some additional features as well and the power output of the model may also be slightly different. Round shaped twin head lights are also one of the most significant features of Mahindra Mojo. The manufacturer is also offering day time running LED lights in the front. The inverted telescopic suspension in the front is one of a kind and the shape of the mud guard is also attractive. Dual exhaust pipes on both the sides describe the aggression of the vehicle. Mahindra Mojo is expected to tackle rival models such as Kawasaki Ninja 300, KTM Duke 390, KTM RC 390, Honda CBR 250R and Yamaha R25 etc.
