16.3.2015: Abid Ali Neemuchwala, who is the head of BPO arm of TCS is appointed as Chief Operating Officer and Group President of Wipro. He will take his charge on April 1. Abid has engineering degree from NIT I Electronics and Communications and masters degree from IIT Mumbai in Industrial management. He has an experience of 32 years in IT and BPS business.

Facebook Entered e-commerce sector by Purchasing TheFind Search Engine

16.3.2015: Facebook acquired TheFind search engine and entered into e-commerce sector. Facebook revealed that it will make ads to reach to the customers by working along with TheFind. Facebook is experimenting on providing the facility of directly purchasing goods from Facebook since July, 2014. Facebook may now introduce additional buying tools. The complete details about TheFind deal are not revealed. TheFind was established in 2006 by Indians Shiv Kumar and Sasikanth Khandewal.

Ian Gould and Aleem Dar appointed as umpires for India, Bangladesh Quarter Final Match

16.3.2015: Ian Gould of England and Aleem Dar of Pakistan are appointed as field umpires for India Vs Bangladesh world cup quarter final match. The match is scheduled to be played at Melbourne on March 19. Third umpire for the game will be Steve Davis. Roshan Mahanama is the match referee.

Cricket World Cup 2015 Quarter Finals from March 18

16.3.2015: Quarter final matches in cricket world cup 2015 tourney are going to begin from 18th March. First Match is between Sri Lanka and South Africa. India will face Bangladesh on March 19. Australia and Pakistan will play the quarter final match on March 20 at Adelaide. The last quarter final match of the tourney will be between New Zealand and West Indies. The winners of these matches will play the semi finals and final match will be played on March 29.

All Women Cab Service Shakti in New Delhi Municipal Council

16.3.2015: New Delhi Municipal Council is introducing a new cab service named Shakti which is going to be all women cab services. This is to check the crimes against women. The officials are also planning to recruit women drivers for its school buses. The selections are completed and women drivers will begin working in April.
