Yuvraj Back in Form: Bangalore Crushes Delhi in the Second Match of IPL 7

Yuvraj is back in form. He entertained the cricket lovers with his sixes. Kohli played as usual and Varun Aaron bowled well. Though Gayle is not in the match, Delhi Daredevils started their IPL tourney with a victory. It showed its domination in all the departments. On the other side Delhi Daredevils felt the absence of Pieterson.

Sharjah: Royal Challengers Bangalore won the match that was played yesterday against Delhi dare Devils. Yuvraj Singh scored 52 unbeatable runs in 29 balls with three fours and five sizes which are very valuable and Kohli also scored 49 runs in 38 balls with two fours and three sixes. He also remained not out. Bangalore chases the target of 146 runs set by Delhi Daredevils in just 16.4 overs.

Bangalore lost its first wicket in the form of opener Madison in the very second over of the innings but still was able to reach the target easily. Another opener Parthiv Patel scored five quick boundaries and helped the score board run. He added 56 runs to the score along with Kohli. He was out in the 9th over and the team score was 62 runs. Yuvraj joined Kohli and took time to set down in the crease. He played some beautiful shots.

Delhi fielders missed two easy catches given by Kohli. If they utilized the opportunities properly the match might have turned to their side. In the new two over, Yuvraj hit two huge sizes. In the last five overs, Bangalore needed 22 runs Kohli and Yuvraj added 84 unbeatable runs to the third wicket.

Delhi Daredevils started their innings slowly as openers Vijay and Mayank Agarwal were not comfortable in the crease. Captain Dinesh Karthik was out in the very first ball he faced. Mayank was also out when he was just 6. After Varun Aaron was introduced for bowling, Delhi was in more trouble as runs were not t all coming. Another wicket of Delhi fell when the team score was 17. At a time it seemed that Delhi cannot cross even the hundred mark. Duminy and Ross Taylor played patiently. In the 17th over, the score board crosses 100 mark. In the last three overs Delhi got 44 runs.

Yuvraj Singh and Dinesh Karthik are the most expensive players in IPL. Performance of both these batsmen is being observed with interest by many. Dinesh Karthik who was bought for Rs. 12.5 crores disappointed everyone but Yuvraj Singh (Rs. 15 crores) played well. He scored five sixes in this match.
