Elections 2014: Jai Samaikyandhra Party (JSP) Following Foot Steps of Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena Party

WHAT IS JSP COURSE OF ACTION

Jai Samaikyandhra Party (JSP) Following Foot Steps of Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena Party

Ex-CM Kiran Kumar Reddy started new political party with much fan fare. But subsequently there is no noise from this party. The party is joining short lived parties like Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena Party.

Vijayawada: Post AP split, CM Kiran Kumar Reddy resigned (in protest of formation of Telangana and the methodology applied for the same) to float a new political party in the name of Jai Samaikyandhra Party (JSP). The founding members of this new party are some of the colleagues of his cabinet.

The suspended congress MPs from seemandhra are the only active members of this party as on date. Majority members of this party are approaching different parties for their political future. Some of them are planning come back to congress as well.

The reasons for this kind of attitude are attributable to many reasons. The already strong YSRCP is able to attract some leaders. TDP following similar route absorbed some of the congress senior leaders. The left over leaders in this new party are finding it extremely difficult to explain to people of Seemandhra as to how they permitted division of AP (to form Telangana).

The party has not been able to find suitable for contesting the current elections. The list of contestants on this party banner is too short.

Now Kiran and his colleagues in the new party are feeling the mistake they have done in relation to T-formation. They continuously gave wrong information to people of Seemandhra that the T-bill would be rejected and there is no possibility of its clearance in parliament.

Some other leaders went a step forward and declared that necessary legal course of action is also being initiated to stall the T-formation. The hard core supporters for ‘united AP’ i.e., the AP NGO’s have been the only responsible persons to understand the sentiments of the people from this region. They were on strike for 2 months period even risking their salary & job as well.

These (ex) congress leaders’ behavior could not get acceptance from people and hence they are facing the present difficulty in maintenance of the new political party.

Congress, on the other hand, is able to partially restore its glitter and is trying to give competition in the coming elections.

The ‘all talk and no action’ JSP is moving towards its death even before facing the first elections.
