Hero Moto Corp to launch 600CC powered ‘Haster’ at Delhi Auto Expo 2014 after HX250R

Hero Moto Corp has experienced slight decay in the sales growth during last calendar year but however, the sale volume of the manufacturer is still not in reach of any other two wheeler maker in the country. Though Honda motor cycles division is growing at rapid rate, Hero is still on the top and it would take few more years to beat Hero for any other manufacturer in the country. Five new models have been added to Hero’s portfolio recently and as per the information, a brand new power house is on its way.

The brand new Sports edition CBZ Extreme, a new 110 CC scooter ‘Dash’, the 250 CC HX250R, diesel – electric scooter and a leap hybrid model have been revealed by the manufacturer recently prior to the Delhi Auto Expo that will be held after few days. To the surprise of all, Hero is reported to be just a few days away from launching a brand new performance production sports bike in India. The so called model is likely to be named as ‘Haster’ and it has been developed for launching in several markets globally this year.

As per the information, an official related with Hero Moto Corp has stated in connection with the brand new Haster “It has an aggressive street fighter look. The big sporty tyres, performance suspension and the yellow coloured metal frame tubes make it look lean, nimble and powerful. Going by the initial look of the bike, it seems to have been designed for the international markets, but it is likely to be launched in the domestic market as well at some stage, where super bikes sales are one of the fastest in the world”.

It is also informed that Hero Moto Corp has designed the brand new Haster with the help of Eric Buell and it is going to be powered with a massive 600 cc engine. A teaser image of the model was also revealed over web and as per the information, Hero is going to launch the model as a concept bike at the upcoming Delhi Auto Expo 2014.
