Hero launched ‘Passion Pro TR’ at Auto Expo – TVS Sport, Baja Discover, Mahindra Centuro and Honda Dream in trouble

Hero Moto Corp has revealed a brand new edition of the Passion Pro at the Auto Expo 2014 that has been held earlier this month at Greater Noida. Passion Pro is one of the most reputed bikes in the 100 CC segment of the Indian market and the demand for the model has following a steady growth since the model has been launched in the market. Currently, it holds the record of the second most sold two wheeler from Hero in India so far.

The model has been show cased at the Auto Expo 2014 and there is no doubt about considering the Passion Pro TR one of the stunning launches at the event this year. The model has been reputed so far by Indian buyers irrespective of age group. But as we can observe from the unit show cased at the Auto Expo, Hero has made some remarkable cosmetic changes to attract majority of Indian youth. No changes were made to the engine and transmission and all the changes made were purely cosmetic. After breaking up its relation with Honda, Hero has been taking some extra care about their models in order to assure the reliability in each and every aspect.

The new Passion Pro TR consists of 1980 mm length, 840 mm of width and 1085 mm height where as the model offers around 165 mm of ground clearance. The curb weight of the model is nearly 119 kilograms and the capacity of its fuel tank is 12.8 litres. Hero has powered the brand new Passion Pro TR with a 97.2 cc air cooled single cylinder four stroke engine that is capable of generating around 7.7 bhp at the peak along with 8.04 Nm of torque. The same 4 speed gear box accompanies the engine as standard and the fuel tank comes with 1 litre usable reserve.

Hero has added a grille for the head light along with hand guards on both sides for the safety of the rider. New paint shades will also be offered along with safety pads on both sides of the fuel tank. The front fender has been placed high and the handle bars gets a cross brace. Passion Pro TR comes with brand new tyres that are specially designed to ride the bike on-road as well as off-road. Hero has not revealed anything about the launch schedule and pricing details of the new Passion Pro TR so far.
