Renault launched Fluence Facelift for Rs. 15.81 lakhs to challenge Honda Civic, Toyota Corolla Altis and Skoda Octavia

Renault India has brought forward brand new edition Fluence sedan at this year’s Auto Expo held at Greater Noida. The facelift edition of the Fluence Sedan has brought a wide number of changes when compared with the former edition sedan. After being caught several times in the past while it was being tested on Indian roads, finally, the model has been launched officially. Facelift Fluence is better in both looks as well as in performance than the base version and it can give the manufacturer a breakthrough in its segment.

Visible changes made to the external body of Fluence Facelift includes a revised front bumper and a new set of day time running LEDs. The front grille has also been modified and it is being offered with full alloy wheels for the first time. The model has become technically rich with the addition of R – Link infotainment module to the centre console. It also comes with upgraded infotainment system featuring integrated satellite navigation system. The quality of the interior has also been changed and analog – digital instrument cluster has been added.

Renault Fluence

Renault is offering the new Fluence Facelift sedan in both petrol as well as in diesel versions. The petrol version of the model comes powered with a 2.0 litre petrol engine that is capable of generating around 135 bhp of power at the peak along with 190 Nm Torque. The engine comes accompanied with a CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) gear box as standard. The base diesel variant of Fluence Facelift comes powered with a 1.5 litre K9K turbo diesel engine that is capable of generating around 108.5 bhp at the peak along with 240 Nm of torque.

A higher end diesel variant is also offered which will come fitted with a 1.6 litre turbo diesel engine that is capable of generating around 130 bhp at the peak along with 320 Nm of torque. Both these diesel variants come fitted with a six speed manual transmission gear box. Renault India is offering the brand new Fluence Facelift E2 variant for Rs. 14.22 lakhs only whereas the E4 variant is being offered for Rs. 15.81 lakhs only.
