Marissa’s CES Address Unveiled Yahoo’s Plans Of Future

Sure, Yahoo has got new refreshments in its approach and operations since Marissa Mayer took up the office. This was evidently seen in the recent CES (Consumer Electronic Show) keynote address given by Mayer.

New Delhi:A considerable amount of the keynote address was dedicated to entertainment that included digital news magazines, live SNL schticks and finally John Legend performing a Beatles.

Mayer came up with a number of announcements like News Digests, two times updation of top news summaries, Yahoo Tech and Yahoo Food digital magazines. The address also included a smart guide for the efforts of Yahoo in Smart TV.

Mayer had to say that Yahoo has crossed the number of 400 million mobile users per month. She also disclosed a deal on mobile that the Aviate, launcher of smartphone’s home screen was acquired by Yahoo.

Yahoo is expected to be redefined with its values and designs under the leadership of Marissa Mayer. She is pushing the company to compete with Facebook and Google by providing tech products and businesses. Mayer finds Yahoo’s future in mobile.

For the recent malware attack on Yahoo webpages, Mayer had to announce that Yahoo will be using SSL from now on to prevent malicious attacks.Mayer was joined by the Senior Vice President of Yahoo, Scott Burke to talk about the ad ventures like Yahoo Native Ads, Yahoo Ad Manager, Yahoo Audience and Yahoo Ad exchange.

Mayer has to be mentioned for her most notable moves of acquiring Tumblr for $1.1 billion and pulling in media personalities like Pogue and Katie Couric who were pulled in to join Yahoo.When the keynote address was nearing the completion, Mayer put the SNL members Keenan Thompson and Cecily Strong on the stage for providing a Weekend Update live. Next Mayer made the entire CES presentation live by bringing in John Legend for a mini performance on the stage pushing the exciting levels high.
