15.2.2016: Bollywood actress Vidya Balan, who is from Kerala is given the Pride of Kerala award. This award is given by World Malayalee Council and Kairali Television. Vidya Balan acted in many popular Hindi movies that include The Dirty Picture, Parineeta, Ishqiya and so on. She already won Film fare awards, national film award and is awarded with Padma Shri in 2014. She began her acting career in Bollywood in the year 2005.
New President of Indian Chartered Accountants of India is Devraja Reddy
15.2.2016: M Devaraja Reddy is chosen is appointed as the new President of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He served ICAI as the vice president from 2015 to 2016. Nilesh S Vikamsey is appointed as the new Vice=president in his place now. Devraja has more than 28 years of professional standing.
Rajiv Dayal Mathur Promoted to Rank of Air Marshal
15.2.2016: Air Vice Marshal Rajiv Dayal Mathur is promoted to the rank of Air Marshal. Prior to this appointment, he was the assistant chief of Air staff in Air Warfare strategy Cell. He also served as Air defense commander at HO Easter Air Command.

15.2.2016: Indian American Ranvir Trehan is named as Kennedy Centre Trustee, sources say, he is named by American President Barrack Obama. John F Kennedy Centre for performing arts in the American Capital is dedicated to the memory of John F Kennedy. The center hosts more than two thousand music, theatre and dance performance every year and more than two million audiences watch these programs.
Ramesh Menon is the New CEO of Hypercity
15.2.2016: Hypercity, the hypermarket chain owned by Shoppers Stop appointed Ramesh Menon as the new chief executive officer. Prior to this appointment, Menon was serving Reliance Communications as national head of wireless operations. HyperCity also announced the appointment of other key management executive. Yogesh Bisht is the vice president human resources and Manoj Jain is appointed the vice president of marketing and visual merchandising.
