Team India Avoids White-wash with a Win in Final ODI
23.06.2015: Team India recovered after two defeats and series loss and won the final ODI against Bangladesh to avoid white-wash. India defeated Bangladesh by 77 runs. Shikhar Dhawan and Mahendra Singh Dhoni helped India set a huge target of 218 runs and in reply Bangladesh scored only 240 runs by losing all its wickets. Suresh Raina who claimed three wickets and also played a lightening innings is announced the man of the match.
Lucknow Zoo Renamed
24.06.2015: Uttar Pradesh government renamed the Lucknow Zoo after Nawab Wajid Alid Shah Prani Udyan. The zoo was earlier known as Lucknow Prani Udyan. Nawab Wajid Ali Shah is the last Nawab of Oudh. Lucknow zo was established in 1921 and was first named after Prine of Wales and was later renamed as Lucknow PRani Udyan in 2001.
