Abhijeeth works in America as a software engineer. He sees Nandita in a TV show and likes and follows her. Nandita is also like by Abhijeeth’s parents. They go to Nandita’s parents and the marriage is settled. Nandita’s condition for agreeing to marry is to settle down in Malaysia after marriage. Abhijeeth leaves his job in America and goes to Malaysia along with Nandita. Nandita writes a letter saying that she came to Malaysia in search of her lover and goes away.

Abhijeeth meets Havish in a pub. Who is Havish? Who is the lover of Nandita? Did the lovers meet? Watch the movie on silver screen to find answers for these questions.

Director Kiran chose the actors to perfectly suit the characters. Havish’s performance in an energetic character is good. He is definitely matured as an actor. Abhijeeth also performed well especially in emotional scenes. Nandita looked traditional as well as glamorous. Though her screen time is less, is scored good marks with her performance.

Bhanu Chander delivered decent performance as a father in a middle class family. Other important characters are played by Nagineedu, Krishnudu and Anita who did justice to their roles. S Gopal Reddy’s cinematography is a plus point to the movie Ram Leela.

First half of the movie is very slow. Comedy track of Ali and Saptagiri did not work out. Songs are also placed at wrong places in first half. Back ground is loud sometimes. Editing of Kartika Srinivasan should have been better. There are many unnecessary scenes and shots in first half. Ashok’s art work is good.

Overall, Ram Leela can be enjoyed by youth. Photography, performance of lead actors and second half are plus points.
