Naga Chaitanya’s Oka Laila Kosam Movie Review: Perfect Launch for Puja Hegde

Oka Laila Kosam is the opening line of a hit song of Akkineni Nageswara Rao. This is also the title of the film of Akkineni’s grandson Nag Chaitanya’s new movie directed by Vijay Kumar Konda. The movie is produced by Nagarjuna and it is hit the screen today.

There is no doubt that Naga Chaitanya will have an increased lady fan following after this movie. He looked stylish and handsome. He also delivered good performance in few emotional scenes but he should have been mature in some scenes.

This is Puja Hegde’s film and she did full justice to the character for which the director chose her. She looks traditional as well as glamorous. Ali’s comedy is another highlight of the movie. Ali’s flashback episode and Posani Krishna Murali’s combination scenes are entertaining.

First half of the movie Oka Laila Kosam is entertaining and fast. Director Vijay Kumar Konda also dealt the climax episode well. Anup’s music and cinematography are also plus points of the film. Biggest minus point of the film is the second half which is very slow.

  1. Andrew’s cinematography for the film Oka Laila Kosam must be mentioned specially. He also did magic with his cameras to shoot the songs. Coming to the director, Vijay Kumar Konda’s story is good. But he could not connect emotions and the audients. Overall this is a feel good romantic entertainer.
