Hero HX250R to be launched in Europe?? – Tackles Kawasaki Ninja 300 and Honda CBR300R

Hero Moto Corp is still the leading two wheeler manufacturer in the Indian market and it is also one of the largest manufacturers in the world in terms of volume. The native Indian giant is having top of the segment models in commuter segment and 150 CC segments. But the manufacturer is lacking a hot cake in the premium two wheeler segment. As per the information, Hero is all set up for the launch of HX250R by the end of mid 2015 to have a breakthrough straight ahead.

The all new HX250R has been showcased at the AIM Expo which was held at Orlando, Florida earlier. Hero is working hard to make the new breed as lighter as possible with a solid power output. The overall weight of the bike is around 139 kilograms only which is very lighter when compared with its rival models such as Kawasaki Ninja 300 and Honda CBR300R which weighs around 172 kilograms and 162 kilograms respectively. A team of technicians from the Erik Buell Racing has customized the exterior outfit of the HX250R and the same was displayed recently. As Hero is one of the stakeholders for EBR, we could expect the new HX250R to get launched in European market.

Hero has powered the new HX250R with a 249 CC fuel injected four valve engine that is capable of generating around 31 bhp power at the peak along with 26 Nm of torque. The respective power output is much appreciable when compared with the 30.4 bhp offered by Honda CBR300R and the 39 bhp offered by Kawasaki Ninja 300. The manufacturer is offering 300 mm disk brake at the front where as the rear wheel is fitted with 200 mm single disk brake. The new super bike offers two ride modes which are Power and Economy respectively. The exclusive under seat exhaust system is very attractive and we could expect the price of the new Hero HX250R to be around Rs. 2 lakhs in the Indian market mostly.
