CES 2015: HTC Desire 826 with Android 5.0 Lollipop OS, 13 Megapixel Primary Camera Launched

HTC launched a new smartphone in desire series at CES 2015. The handset comes out of the box with latest version of Android. Dubbed as HTC Desire 826, the handset will be offered with single and dual SIM options, based on the market.

Las Vegas: HTC Desire 826 comes with 5.5 inch display and the type of display is full HD with 1080 x 1920 pixels. It runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system. It is powered by 1.5 GHz quad core processor along with Adreno 405 GPU. The processor is paired with 2 GB RAM and the internal storage provided is 16 GB. Memory can be expanded via micro SD card. The handset features 13 megapixel primary camera and it will also come with a front facing camera on board. It comes with support to WiFi, 4G, Bluetooth and micro USB connectivity. Battery under the hood is 2600 mAh. The handset is 7.5 mm thick and it weighs 155 grams. It will be offered in white, purple and blue colors.

HTC Desire 826

HTC Desire 826 is expected to be launched first in China. It will be made available in other Asian markets in the beginning of 2015. HTC India website already listed the handset will coming soon status. Other prominent features of the handset are the HTC Eye experience, HTC Boomsound and the 64 bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chipset. HTC did not reveal the price of the handset.
