South Central Railway to Run 12 Special Trains between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh

South Central Railway is running special trains between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana as the summer vacations are coming to an end and also because Chandrababu Naidu is swearing-in as AP chief minister on June 8 in Guntur.

Vijayawada: CPRO K Sambasiva Rao informed that 12 special trains will run between Secunderabad-Kakinada, Vijayawada-Tirupati, Tirupati-Narsapur, Guntur-Kakinada and Guntur-Visakhapatnam. Most of these trains will halt at Nagarjuna Nagar station, Guntur district.

  • Train no 07101 train starts from Secunderabad on June 7 at 11.00 pm. Train number 07102 starts from Kakinada on June 8 at 6.35 am. Train number 07101 Jansadharan train starts from Secunderabad on June 6 at 10.40 pm and from Kakinada rain no 07102 starts on 7.15 on June 8. These trains run via Nalgonda, Guntur, Nagarjuna Nagar and Samarlakot.
  • Vijayawada to Tirupati train no 07210 train starts at 10.00 pm on June 6 from Vijayawada. In return journey, train no 07209 train starts from Tirupati on June 9 at 11.00 pm. This runs via Nagarjuna Nagar, Tenali, Nellore and Renigunta.
  • Tirupati-Narsapur train no. 07401 starts from Tirupati at 11.00 pm on June 7. Train no 07402 starts from Narsapur on June 8 at 6.15 pm. These run via Renigunta, Ongole, Tenali, Vijayawada, Bhimavaram and Palakol
  • Kakinada to Guntur Jan Sadharan train number 07209 starts from Kakinada on June 7 at 1.00 pm. From Guntur 07210 Jan Sadharan train starts at 10.10 pm on June 7. These runs via Samarlakot, Nidadavolu, Gudivada, Vijayawada and Nagarjuna Nagar stations.
  • Visakhapatnam-Guntur 07240 Jan Sadharan train no. 07240 starts on June 7 at 10.15 pm and from Guntur 07239 Jan Sadharan train starts on June 8 at 11.00 pm. These run via Anakapalli, Samarlakot, Eluru, Nagarjuna Nagar

IRCTC announced special package tour to religious places in south. The tour starts from Hyderabad. This is a 5 day tour package and the train leaves from Kachiguda station on June 11. Passengers can visit, Rameshwaram, Dhanushkoti, Ramanatha Swamy temple. Agni Teertham, Pamban Bridge, Ramar Badam, Kanyakumari, Kumari Amman temple, Vivekananda Rock memorial, Tiruvallurvar, Gandhi Mandapam, Madurai, Meenakshi temple and Tirumalai Naik building.
