Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) 2014 will be held on 26th June 2014. Exam conducts for B.Arch Admission at IITs.

Delhi: JEE Main 2014 examination results were out. Based on the results JEE Advanced 2014 examination was conducted successfully. Now it is the time to wait for the results. Results will be declared on 19th June 2014. After the announcement of the results, seat allocation process will start. Seat allotment will be done based on the category wise all India Rank in JEE Advanced 2014 examination. In the course allocation of the JEE Advanced 2014 examination there were 3 rounds.

First round of the seat allocation will be declared on 1st July 2014. After the first round of seat allotment, second round of seat allotment will be done. This will be done on 8th July 2014. Then final round of seat allotment will be done on 12th July 2014. Candidates who were shortlisted in JEE Advanced examination will become eligible for choice filling of the courses.

Some of the candidates will be desirous towards the B.Arch courses. These courses will be available at IIT Roorkee and IIT Kharagpur. Candidates who were interested to do B.Arch courses need to write the Aptitude Test i.e. AAT (Architecture Aptitude Test). This examination will be held on 26th June 2014 at 7 zonal IITs. Those IITs were IIT Roorkee, IIT Madras, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Kanpur, IIT Guwahati, IIT Delhi and IIT Bombay.

On the day of the entrance examination candidates need to report at the above mentioned zonal IITs. Candidates need to register for the examination on entering the Choice for any of the two courses. For this examination candidates need to register through JEE Advanced online portal. Registration for this examination will start from 20th June 2014 and ends on 24th June 2014. After successful completion of the registration process for this examination, exam will be held on 26th June 2014 between 9.00 AM to 12.00 AM. Duration of this examination is 3 hours.

In AAT 2014 examination candidates will be tested on architectural awareness, Imagination & aesthetic perception, 3 dimensional perception, geometrical drawing, free hand drawing. Detail syllabus for this examination can be check by the candidates in JEE Advanced 2014 website. If candidates do not qualify in this examination they will not be eligible for the admission to B.Arch courses.
