Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Latest Movie ‘Legend’ Review: Treat for Balakrishna Fans

Fans of Balakrishna were eagerly waiting for the releasing of his latest film ‘Legend’. The 27 seconds teaser that was released increased the expectation on the film. Legend movie was made with Rs. 40 crore budget. The film’s story is a combination of politics and revenge.

Guntur: Before the release of the movie, it was said by the movie team that Balakrishna will appear in three getups. Jagapati Babu played the character of a villain for the first time. The career of Jagapati Babu is also based on the success of the film.

Legend movie is made on 14 Reels Entertainment banner and main roles are played by Nandamuri Balakrishna, Jagapati Babu, Sonali Chouhan, Radhika Ampte, Sitara, Rao Ramesh and Ishwari Rao. Music is scored by Devi Sri Prasad. Producers of the movie are Anil Sunkara and Gopichand Achanta.

Balakrishna is seen on silver screen after one year. This is the second movie of Bala Krishna directed by Boyapati Srinu. It is expected that the movie will help for the political career of Bala Krishna.

The story of ‘Legend’ goes like this. Jayadev is a person who always thinks of the welfare of the people. He does not spare those who cause problems for his people. Another angle to the story is the rivalry between him and Jagapati Babu. How Balakrishna grows as a legend forms the story. The scenes that come before the interval are the best scenes. Second part of the movie runs in flash back.

Usually all the stories of Balakrishna movies are family storiees. Legend also falls in that category and a sensitive love story is also included in this. The dialogues are as usual very powerful. Get up of Bala Krishna and the dialogue delivery are better than his earlier films.

The scenes between Balakrishna and Jagapati Babu will entertain the audience. The movie looked rich. There are few similarities between his earlier movie ‘Simha ‘ and ‘Legend’. Camera work is average. The movie is a treat to the fans of Balakrishna and for other audience it is just normal.

Balakrishna’s action is the highlight of the movie. His dances are also good. Devi Sri Prasad’s back ground music is good. Radhika Ampte scored good marks for her action. Dialogues and fights will attract the mass audience. Boyapati Srinu, the director of the film took care that there are no negative points in the story. Balakrishna appeared a bit fat. Sonali Chowhan had no big character.
