HTC is likely to launch a new handset dubbed as Desire 816. Desire 816 is going to be priced below Rs. 25,000. The handset comes with 5.5 inch display and is powered by 1.6 GHz quad core processor.

Mumbai: HTC launched a new handset Desire 310 in India and it is a dual SIM mobile phone. It was offered with a price tag of Rs. 11,480. According to sources, HTC is going to launch another handset in India soon. HTC Desire 816 is going to hit the shelves in May this year. Desire 816 was unveiled at Mobile World Congress 2014.

HTC Desire 816 comes with 5.5 inch display and the resolution is 1280 x 720 pixels. It is powered by 1.6 GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor and it is backed by 1.5 GB RAM. This handset also supports dual SIM. Connectivity features of the handset include WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth and 3G.

HTC Desire 816 comes equipped with 13 megapixel primary camera and 5 megapixel front facing camera. It is provided with 8 GB internal storage and there is also micro SD card for expanding the memory up to 64 GB. It comes packed with 2,600 mAh battery. HTC did not reveal the price of the handset but depending on the specifications, it is likely that it will come with a price tag under Rs. 25,000. HTC is likely to announce the handset soon for Indian markets.
