CES 2014: Alcatel Onetouch Pop 7, Pop 8 Tablets announced along with Pop C9 Phablet

Alcatel Onetouch came up with two tablet in pop series and a phablet also. Pop 7 comes with 7 inch screen and Pop 8 comes with 8 inch display. Pop C9 phablet sports 5.5 inch display. These will be released in the first quarter of 2014.

Las Vegas: Alcatel One Touch unveiled to new tablets that run on Android operating system. These were announced at CES 2014. Dubbed as Pop 7 and Pop 8, these two tablet are accompanied by a phablet known as Pop C9. These will be launched in the first quarter of this year, it is informed.

3G variants of Alcatel One Touch Pop 7 and Pop 8 tablets will also be released and will be available for €149 and €199 respectively. The company however did not give any details of the phablet dubbed as Pop C9.

Alcatel One Touch Pop 7 sports 7 inch display as the name suggests. It has display resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. The handset is powered by 1.3 GHz dual core processor and will be backed by 1 GB RMA. It runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly bean operating system. It also has 4 GB internal storage and expansion of memory is possible with the help of micro SD. There is 2 megapixel primary camera also.

Another tablet that is launched is the Alcatel One Tough Pop 8. Specifications of Pop 8 are almost similar to those of Pop 7 and the major difference between the two devices is the 1 GHz quad core processor and the resolution is 1280 x 800 pixels.

Alcatel also came up with a new Phablet at CES 2014. It is known as Pop C9 and it comes with 5.5 inch display. Processor inside is 1.3 GHz quad core processor. It will be offered in five colors – cherry white, bluish black, full white, fresh turquoise and hot pink. It sports 2500 mAh battery and comes equipped with 8 megapixel primary camera and 2 megapixel front facing camera.

Alcatel also announced Idol X+ also which will be released worldwide. The handset sports 5 inch display and will run on octal core processor with 13.1 megapixel camera and 2 megapixel front facing camera. Memory features are 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage.
