Alcatel launched a new budget android tablet One Touch Evo8. One Touch Evo comes with magic flip covers that light up when notifications are received. It is powered by dual core processor and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly bean operating system. It is expected to hit the markets in the fourth quarter of 2013.
Berlin: Tablet markets are flooded with Android tablets that come for affordable prices. One of such tablet introduced by Alcatel is the New One Touch evo8 HD tablet which sports 8 inch display. The device is expected to be launched into the markets in the fourth quarter of 2013.
Alcatel One Touch Evo8 HD sports 8 inches screen. The display resolution is 1024 x 768 pixels. It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system. It is powered by 1.6 GHz dual core processor and is paired with 1 GB of RAM. It is provided with 4 GB of internal storage. There is a convenience of expanding the memory up to 64 GB via micro SD card slot.
Connectivity features of the device include 3G, Bluetooth and it is an LTE tablet it comes equipped with 2 megapixel front facing camera and 3 megapixel rear camera. Interesting features of the handset are the One Touch Home V100 dongle that allow connecting the device to television using micro-USB port and the magic flip cover which lights up when notifications are received.
