Alcatel One Touch Idol, One Touch Idol Ultra available in India for Rs. 15,800 and Rs. 21,000
Mumbai: Alcatel One Touch launched two Android based smartphones in India. The two new smartphones are One Touch Idol Ultra and One Touch Idol. The company announced the handsets in the beginning of 2013. Alcatel is owned by TCL Communications and manufacturers mobiles. The company claims to have come up with slimmest Android smartphone in the world, One Touch Idol Ultra in India. This was showed in Consumer Electronics Show in January, 2013.
Alcatel One Touch Idol sports 4.5 inch display and has 540 x 960 pixel resolution. The type of display is qHD IPS display. Another handset is One Touch Idol Ultra and is comes with 4.7 inch display with 720 x 1280 pixels. The type of display is HD AMOLED and it also has Corning Gorilla glass protection. Both the handsets run on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system. Both smartphones come equipped with 8 megapixel rear camera. Alcatel One Touch Idol is offered in Silver, Red, Cranberry pink and slate colors. This comes with a price tag of Rs. 15,800. Alcatel One Touch Idol Ultra can be purchased in black and red colors. It comes with a price tag of Rs. 21,000.
