Ford’s Eco Sport spied beside Renault Duster - Ford exporting Duster for testing too along with Eco Sport
New Delhi: Ford’s upcoming sensation in the Indian market Eco Sport has been spied in India during the testing phase and to the surprise of all it has been seen beside the refreshed version of Renault’s Duster which is also yet to be unveiled officially.
Powerdrift, a Facebook page has unveiled the spy pictures of the combo and so much buzz has spread about seeing two major rival launches of the near future in a single picture. As per the information, Ford’s team of technical experts from Australia has worked for the development of the brand new Eco Sport. Eco Sport will be exported to the Indonesian market and South African market as well very soon after the official launch of the model in India.
Renault’s Duster is expected to be the major competitor for Ford’s Eco Sport in the Indian market and thus it is informed that Ford will be exporting a unit of Duster along with Eco Sport unit for testing at their Australian centre with the respective team of International experts. The spied images have been reported to be captured while the vehicles were resting at the Ennore Port located in the Chennai city and thus possibility has grown up for considering that both were likely to get exported for testing abroad.
The Eco Sport of Ford comes under four meters and thus escapes from being taxed additionally whereas the Renault Duster is a bit larger and has almost crossed the four meter border thus might get taxed higher comparatively than the former. Thus Indian buyers may get smaller price tag with Eco Sport comparatively than Duster’s.
