Wii Mini Announced Again by Nintendo: Wii Mini Price & Features
Amsterdam: Nintendo has just now confirmed that Wii Mini is going to be released in UK on 22nd March 2013. This new gaming console is a redesigned model of Wii System which has recorded sales of more than hundred millions. This latest console losses few features like internet and Wi-Fi capabilities when compared to previous version. Apart from releasing redesigned hardware, Nintendo is reported to be releasing Mario Party 8, Mario Power Tennis, Wii Sports Resort, Super Paper Mario among wide range of games released under Nintendo Select software series.
Wii Mini has already hit the stores in Canada in 2012 and it is offered at affordable price range. According to Digital Foundry, there are many technical issues on this device. But still, this device is considered as classic Wii even though it has reduction in screen size compared with previous versions. This device is going to be released in black color with red band. Details of pricing of this device were not released. When Wii Mini was released in Canada, it has been priced at 99 USD. Hence in European market the price of this device will be around 70 to 80 Pounds. Main reason behind cutting down the internet capabilities of the device is to reduce the pricing of the device. This gaming console comes with Wii remote plus which is shiny red in color. This device comes coupled with Nunchuk controller which is also in red color.
Nintendo included selection of four titles to its affordable range Nintendo Select range of games. These games are expected to create a sensation in the gaming market. It is expected that these games will be supported on the latest device as well as on its previous versions also. When announced, Wii Mini got mixed reviews from the critics even though it has got attractive features like low price tag and striking looks.
