10.06.2015: Aung san Suu Kyi, the Nobel peace laureate and the opposition leader of Myanmar is on a four day visit to China. This is her first visit to China. The visit is to improve ties between the two countries.

Kapil Mishra is the NEW Law Minister of Delhi

10.06.2015: Kapil Mishra, Delhi Jal Board chairman is named as the new Law Minister of Delhi. He is chosen in place of Jitendra Singh Tomar who was arrested in fake degree case.

Dr Srivari Chandrasekhar is the new Director of CSIR-IICT

10.06.2015: Dr. Srivari Chandrasekhar is appointed the director of CSIR – IICT of Hyderabad. The appointment was made by Narendra Modi. Chandrasekhar is the chief scientist at IICT presently. He is an associate of Indian National Science Academy, Indian Academy of sciences and National Academy of Sciences. He invented anti-tuberculosis drug, sertraline and so on.

MK Sharma is the non-executive Chairman of ICICI Bank

10.06.2015: ICICI announced the appointment of MK Sharma as the non-executive chairman. He will take up his new responsibility on 1st July this year after receiving the approval of Reserve Bank of India. He is the director of ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company and Lombard General Insurance Company.

10.06.2015: Shah Rukh Khan became the first to acquire an overseas cricket franchise when he acquired the Carribean Premier League T20 team Trinidad and Tobago. He is the co-owner of Kolkata Knight Riders. Hollywood starts also own the Caribbean Premier League franchises.

Cricketer Hemant Kanitkar Passed Away

10.06.2015: Former Maharashtra wicket keeper Hemant Kanitkar passed away. Kanitkar represented India in two tests as batsman. The two tests were played against West Indies during 1974 – 75 and the team was led by Clive Lloyd.
