HTC A55 Flagship Phone Specifications Leaked: HTC A55 with 3GB RAM, 5.5 qHD Display

HTC is soon going to expand its Desire series by adding a new smartphone dubbed as A55 and the specifications of the handsets are leaked online. The specifications of the handset are impressive. The device is likely to be launched at MWC 2015.

Taipei: HTC A55 is said to sports 5.5 inch display and the type of display is qHD. The display resolution is 2560 x 1440 pixels. The handset is powered by octa core 64 bit MediaTek MT6795 processor whose clock speed is 2 GHz. The processor is paired with 3 GB RAM. Internal storage provided is 32 GB. It runs on the latest version of Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system. The handset is expected to come with 20 megapixel camera at rear and also a powerful 13 megapixel camera at front. Battery under the hood is less than 3000 mAh battery.

HTC A55 is likely to be launched on February 2015. It will be offered in white, gray and brown gold. The device is expected to e launched in single SIM and dual SIM variants. The Single SIM will be released in EMEA markets and the dual SIM is for the Asian markets. Since the handset is likely to features Sense 7.0, the release of the device can be expected in March, after the successor of M8 is launched.

Other leaks from HTC include that the handset is working on other high end smartphones also dubbed as Hima, Hima_ultra and Hima Ace Plus. It has to be seen which of these leaked smartphones will make it to the markets. One of these is likely to be released exclusive by a telecom operator or will be exclusive to a country.
