Volkswagen Polo Longue Edition launched in Germany – Climatronic, Cruise Control System and much more for just Rs.11 lakhs only

Volkswagen has launched a new edition of the Polo hatch back exclusively for the German market. The manufacturer has revealed few images of the same over web which have attracted majority of automotive geeks around the world. As per the information, the new edition is going to be dubbed into the market as ‘Longue Edition Polo’ and it is going to have visual exchanges only. The engine and other specs of the hatch back will remain same and it is priced at 15200 Euros.

The front fascia of the model gets a new glossy black grille along with a revised bumper. There is not any change to the headlights and fog lights at all but addition of 15 inch full alloy wheels made the overall look of the hatch back much more interesting. Tinted glass windows are one of the unique features of the hatch back and the manufacturer is also offering dual tone interiors with silver, grey finishing. Leather wrappings can be noticed on the hand brake lever, gear knob and also for the steering wheel. The tartan upholstery and premium fabrics used for the seat covers and etc. Also adds significance to the special edition Polo hatchback.

Longue Edition Polo hatch back is offered with a set of engines in both petrol and diesel versions. The base variant comes powered with a1.0 litre diesel engine which comes mated with a five speed manual transmission gear box. Four petrol engine options and three diesel engine options are on offer in the German market with the new Longue Edition Polo hatch back. Some of the significant features of the model include adaptive cruise control system and automatic climate control system that comes integrated on the dash board. The infotainment system is rich with six speakers and rain sensing wipers also boasts of the technical standards of the hatchback.

There is no information about the launch of Longue edition Polo hatch back in India so far.
