21.04.2015: An Egypt court sentenced Mohammad Mursi, former president for 20 years in prison. He was sentenced in the case of killing protestors when he was in power. He is facing many other trails. He lost his power in July 2013 as there were mass street protests against his rule.

Former Odisha Chief Minister Passed Away

21.04.2015: Veteran congress leader and former chief minister of Odisha passed away in Tirupati. He was 89. He suffered chest pain and was admitted into the hospital in Tirupati. He served as Odisha chief minister from 1980 to 1989. He again became chief minister in 1995 and continued in the post for four years.

Novak Djokovic is the Winner of Monte-Carlo Masters Title

21.04.2015: Novak Djokovic of Serbia won the Monte Carlo title of Tennis by defeating Tomas Berdych of Czech Republic. This is the second time that he won this title. Novak is presently the world number one. He already won Indian wells and Miami Title this season.

Ankit Kesari Under-19 Cricketer Passed Away

21.04.2015: Ankit Kesari, an under-19 cricketer of east Bengal Club passed away due to injury. Ankit is only 20 years old. He was injured during a match when he tried to take a catch and bumped into another player. He lost consciousness on the ground itself. He succumbed to his injuries when shifted to the hospital.

NASA Planning to send Submarine to Titan

21.04.2015: NASA is likely to send a submarine powered by nuclear to explore Titan, the moon of Saturn. There is going to be a seafloor camera and a sampline system in the robot submarine. The submarine is likely o be dropped on Kraken Mare, on Titan using a parachute. NASA hopes to study and explore seafloor, island, weather and shoreline of Titan using this submarine.

E-Samiksha Launched by Indian Railways

21.04.2015: Indian Railways launched e-Samiksha, an online mechanism to monitor rail projects. National Informatics centre designed this to be used by PMO, Cabinet secretariat and other ministries. Various ongoing projects implementation can be monitors using this.
