The native Indian automotive giant Tata motors has finally moved lips about the official debut of the most awaited hatch back ‘bolt’. As per the information, the manufacturer is likely to launch the hatch back into Indian market on 22nd of this month. Tata has already started accepting bookings for the model for an advance of just Rs. 11000 only and it is expected to come with an affordable price tag which can be the most significant factor for the model in India.

Bolt comes with exclusive styling, a bunch of advanced technical features along with appreciable safety features. The hatch back looks a lot different from the other models of the manufacturer and it is also unique in styling relatively than rival models too. The front fascia comes with a new set of projector head lights along with a black c pillar. Tata is offering the hatch back in petrol and diesel versions in India. The petrol version hatch back comes powered with a 1.2 litre turbo charged Revotron engine that is capable of generating around 90 Ps power at the peak along with 140 Nm of torque. Engine comes mated to a five speed manual transmission gear box by default and there is no other choice for the petrol version currently. The diesel version of the model comes powered with a 1.3 litre diesel engine adopted from Fiat that is capable of generating around 75 PS power at the peak along with 175 Nm of torque. Engine comes mated to a five speed manual transmission gear box by default and we can also expect an automated manual transmission gear box as a choice.
