Renault Duster AWD launched for Rs. 12.99 lakhs - Tackles Ford Eco Sport, Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, Mahindra Scorpio

Renault India has allured Indian buyers from past few months about the launch of the 4X4 version of Duster Sports Utility Vehicle. Finally, the waiting comes to an end as the French automotive giant has officially pulled the curtains off from the new Duster All Wheel Drive SUV. The new Duster is going to be a fest to off road geeks and the manufacturer is offering the 4X4 version Duster for a starting price of just Rs. 11.89 lakhs only.

Renault India has powered the brand new AWD edition Duster with the same 1.5 litre four cylinder diesel engine that is capable of generating around 110 PS power at the peak along with 248 Nm of torque. Engine comes mated with a 6 speed manual transmission gear box by default and there is no other choice available for the Indian buyers currently. The SUV is having three driving modes that can be locked manually by using the knob on the center console and they are two wheel drive, Four wheel drive and Automatic Mode respectively. he front fascia is going to come up with smoked head lights which were seen on the Adventure Edition Duster in the past. ‘All Wheel Drive’ stickers are pasted on all sides of the SUV and all four wheels get gun metal alloy finishing.

Duster AWD is going to come up with all the security standards that can be afforded in the respective price range such as two air bags in the front, ABS with EBD, Brake Assist System and multi link rear suspension system etc. As per the information, the new all wheel drive version Duster SUV is capable of assuring around 19.72 kmpl mileage on an average which is one of the best in class mileages in the Indian market currently.
