Mahindra launches Refreshed Xylo – Toyota Innov, Ford Fortuner, Ford Eco Sport and Renault Duster AWD in trouble
Mahindra has launched a refreshed edition of the Xylo SUV in the Indian market without much lurk. The manufacturer still offering both BS III and BS IV compliant variants of the SUV and all variants of the model have been revised. Mahindra has introduced the model in the Indian market for the first time in the year 2009 the new update of the model is expected to boost sales up this festive season.
The front fascia of the model has been revised considerably and we could observe the excess chrome both on the front as well as on the rear. Both the sides of SUV come with exclusive body decals and the roof gets a new set of rails. All four wheels of the SUV get brand new alloys and the number plate gets chrome finishing as well. Mahindra has replaced the upholstery and seat covers with new premium class fabric materials. The dash board in the front gets dual tone treatment and the instrument cluster has also been revised. One of the most significant changes in the model would be the addition of upgraded suspension system.
Mahindra is offering base variants of the refreshed Xylo with the same 2.5 litre mDI diesel engine that could produce around 93.7 bhp power at the peak along with 218 Nm of torque. Few higher end variants of the model get powered with a 2.2 litre mHAWK diesel engine that generates around 120 bhp power at the peak along with 280 Nm of torque. Both these engines come accompanied with a 5 speed manual transmission gear box by default. Mahindra has priced all variants of the refreshed Xylo as below
