Venkatesh: Another Name For Victory

Venkatesh is proving he is another name for victory. He is carving his special niche with re-makes as well as mutli-starrer movies.

Hyderabad: Venkatesh is versatile actor. Son of star producer D Ramanaidu (of Suresh Productions), Venaktesh started his film career with Kaliyuga Pandavulu in the year 1986 with Khushboo as the female lead.

During the last 29 years, Venkatesh acted in as many as 70 movies. Speciality of this star is that because of success enjoyed by many of his films, he got the title of ‘Victory’ and his name is more popular as ‘Victory Venkatesh’.

Venky proved his mettle with success of films like Lakshmi, Tulasi, Chintakayala Ravi, Gharshana as solo hero. Venky is famous for super hit remakes like Trimurtulu (remake of Naseeb), Two Town Rowdy (remake of Tezaab), Kondapalli Raja (Khudgarz), Pokiri Raja (Aankhen).

Venkatesh is being looked as the best option for multi-starrer. He played the lead role in ‘Sankranti’ mutli starrer where Srikanth played his younger brother. He also acted in mutli-starrers like Seetamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu with Super Star Prince Mahesh Babu. His other movie ‘Masala’ has ram as other co-star.

His new ventures include ‘Gopala Gopala’ with Power Star Pawan Kalyan. This is a remake of Bollywood super hit ‘Oh My God’.

His other new venture is remake of ‘Drushyam’ (malayalam super hit with Mohanlal & Meena in the lead roles). The main story line of this story revolves around a crime that is committed while trying to protect the family of affected in the hands of the blackmailer. The movie handles the ‘alibi’ aspect in the investigation by the police in connection with the murder of the blackmailer. Originally made at a cost of Rs.5 crores, the Malayalam version of the movie Drushyam collected an amount of Rs.50 crores in 50 days. Venkatesh’s Drushyam is scheduled to release on 5^th July 2014.

The list of the awards won by Venkatesh is very long. Some of the awards he won include Vamshi Berkeley Award, Film Fare Award and also the prestigious Nandi Award.

Many of the Venky films recorded huge success at the box office and his acting has all the aspects that are required for making the audience happy i.e., action, music, story line, sentiment, comedy etc.
