JIPMER offering MBBS Course for the year 2014: Eligibility, Course fee, Selection Procedure, Important Dates

Pondicherry: JIPMER (Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research) is offering MBBS Courses. Candidates who are interested to do MBBS course through JIPMER need to send the application forms to the institution before 2^nd May 2014. Only 150 seats are available to do MBBS course though this institution. Admission will be done based on the online based entrance examination. As per the notification released, Completion of 10+2 examination with English, Biology/ Biotechnology, Chemistry, Physics as the main subjects is the eligibility criteria to apply for this examination. OCI (Overseas Citizens of India) and Indian nationals are eligible to apply for this examination. Along with the eligibility criteria, notification was also released age limitation of the candidates. As on 31^st December 2014, minimum age of the candidates should be 17 years.

Online registration for this examination will start from tomorrow i.e. 19^th March 2014. Registration for this examination will close on 2^nd May 2014. Entrance test will be held on 6^th June 2014. Application fees for this examination are Rs.1000 for General and OBC candidates. For SC / ST candidates, application fee is Rs.800. Fee structure of this course is divided into 4 sections. Those 4 sections are Admission fee, Academic Fees, JIPMER Students Association fee and Learning Resources fee.

Admission fee should be paid only one time. This amount is Rs.4000. Academic fee should be paid annually. This amount is Rs.1400. JIPMER Students Association fee should also be paid annually. This amount is Rs.1500. Learning Resource fee is should also be paid annually. This amount is Rs. 2000.
