Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 Vs Gionee Elife E7: Which One To Choose?

If you are planning to buy or gift a mid end smartphone in this new year, both of the Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 and Gionee elife e7 is a better choice. The smartphones will be available in indian market in January in a range of 23k to 30k.

New Delhi: Today, i am going to compare two most recent release smartphones in the market. One is the Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 and the other is Gionee Elife E7. Lets have a faceoff between the two:

Operating System: The new Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 comes with Android 4.3 out of the box with TouchWiz UI and the Gionee Elife e7 has a Android 4.2 with Amigo 2.0. Among both, the Grand 2 leads with new Android version.

Processor: The Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 is powered by quad core qualcomm Snapdragon processor clocked at a frequency of 1.2 GHz and on the other hand Gionee Elife e7 comes with a Quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at 2.2 Ghz.

Screen: Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 comes with a 5.25 inch HD touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and has a pixel density of 280 ppi. On the other hand the new Gionee elife e7 has a larger display i.e 5.5 inch Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and has a pixel density of 401ppi.

Camera: The Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 comes with 8 MP rear camera along with autofocus plus other features and a 1.9 MP front facing camera whereas the Elife e7 comes with a 16 MP rear camera with a 8 MP secondary camera which is an outstanding spec.

Battery: Samsung Grand 2 comes with a 2600mAh battery and the Gionee elife e7 has a battery of 2500 mAh.

Memory: The Samsng grand 2 has an internal memory of 8 GB and can be expanded upto 64 GB while the Gionee elife e7 carries an inrenal 16 GB or 32 GB.

Build: Galaxy Grand 2 has a dimension of 146.8 x 75.3 x 8.9mm and weighs 163g while elife e7 has a simesion of 150.6 X 75 X 9.7mm and weighs 150g.

Verdict: The galaxy grand 2 is expected to have a price somewhat between Rs 22900 and Rs 24900, while elife e7 will be arond Rs 27,000 or Rs 30,000 according to storage. Gionee elife e7 seems a better option among the two, specially the camera.But if one want to go for reliable brand Samsung Grand 2 is a better option with decent features.
