Family Fight: Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 vs Galaxy Core Advance, Which One To Choose?

Samsung is looking for the best they could provide the Indian market. In that case they are out with their next smartphone in the line, Galaxy Core Advance. This new entry has impressive features but when put against the Samsung Galaxy Grand 2, it fall short of specifications and features.

New Delhi: Well, today we are going to compare the two Samsung siblings, that is the Galaxy Grand 2 and the Galaxy Core Advance. Lets have a face off between the two device:

Form: The new Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 comes with a dimension of 146.8 x 75.3 x 8.9 mm and weighs around 163g whereas the Samsung Galaxy Core Advance has a dimension of 133.3 x 70.5 x 9.7mm and weighs 145g. Galaxy core is on lighter weight and smaller build which makes it comfortable for hold and use but on the other side Galaxy Grand 2 with its impressive design
with a faux leather casing makes the device look classy.

Display: The Galaxy Core comes with 4.7 inch display and has a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels with 199 ppi pixel density and on the other hand the Grand 2 sports a 5.2 inch display and has a HD resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels with 280 ppi pixel density. Clearly Grand 2 wins the race.

Processor: The Galaxy Grand 2 has a powerful heart of 1.2 GHz Quad core processor while the Galaxy Core is powered by 1.2 Ghz dual core processor. With powerful processor and 1.5 GB RAM which is higher the Core’s 1 GB RAM, Grand 2 leads the race.

Camera: The Galaxy Grand 2 comes with a 8 MP rear camera with auto focus, LED, geo tagging and also can record 1080p videos. It has a 1.9 MP front facing camera for video calling. On the other hand the galaxy Core sports a 5 MP rear camera and a VGA front.

Storage: Both of the smartphones has an internal memory of 8 GB and can be expanded upto 64 GB additionally using microSD.

OS: Galaxy Core comes with a 4.2 Jelly Bean older version whereas the Galaxy Grand 2 features the new Android 4.3 jelly bean out of the box. The functionality are pretty much closer.

Verdict: If you are looking for bigger screen, quality camera, latest features and powerful device, Galaxy Grand 2 is undoubtedly the best. Otherwise, the Galaxy Core Advace doesn’t lags behind too much. Its a handly device with decent camera and other additional features.
