Moto G vs. Lumia 720:The fight for a better Rs 15,000 phone
Motorola is all geared up to launch the Moto G in India in the last week of January with a sub Rs 15,000 price tag whereas the Lumia 720 has had its price dropped to about Rs 14,500-15,000 in recent times. We compare the two of them to find out which would make for a smart buy in near future.
New Delhi: Smart buyers always compare before making a purchase. So if you are wondering whether Motorola Moto G or Nokia Lumia 720 is a better phone to buy for about Rs 15,000, have a look at the comparison of features and specifications of the two devices:
Display: Moto G sports a capacitive touch display of 4.5 inches with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. On the other hand, Lumia 720 features a capacitive touch display of 4.3 inches with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels.
Processor: Moto G comes equipped with a quad core processor clocked at 1.2 Giga Hertz while Lumia 720 has been equipped with a dual core processor of 1 Giga Hertz.
Software: Moto G runs on Android 4.3 OS while Lumia 720 functions on Windows Phone 8 platform.
Memory: Moto G offers a RAM of 1 GB and inbuilt storage capacity of 16 GB. On the other hand, Lumia 720 features a RAM of 512 MB and inbuilt storage capacity of 8 GB. It also offers up to 64 GB expandable storage space.
Camera: Moto G provides a rear camera of 5 mega pixels with LED flash while Nokia Lumia 720 offers a rear camera of 6.7 mega pixels. Both the smartphones sport a secondary front facing camera of 1.3 mega pixels.

Our Take: After comparing the two handsets, Motorola Moto G appears to be a better choice as it offers a faster processor and better display. However, if storage space is a big concern for you, opt for Nokia Lumia 720.
