Nexus 8 and Nexus 12 Concept Rumors: Imagined Specs of Nexus 12
The Techno Toast, imagined the concept of Nexus 12. Google recently launched Nexus 5 that runs on Android 4.4 operating system. More rumors about Nexus 8 also are going around. Imagined specs of Nexus 12 include 4 GB RAM, 12 inch display and 4G LTE support.
New York: Google has recently launched a Nexus 5 loaded with Android 4.4. However, Industry reports now say that there have been sightings of Nexus 8 and also a Nexus 12 concept. What you are going to read below is a concept imagined by an Android fan “TheTechnoToast” who posted the render that you see above on Deviant Art website. The screen size is imagined to be 12-inches and the hardware configuration is also imagined to be as below:
- It sports 12 inch display and the display resolution is 5120 x 3200 pixels
- Display is protected by Gorilla Glass
- Pixel density 503 ppi
- It has 4 GB of RAM
- The device is powered by 2.6 GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 1000 processor
- It is likely to run on 4.5 Kitkat operating system
- It will support dual cameras – 13 megapixel primary camera and 3 megapixel front facing camera
- The tablet supports 4G LTE
However, if you remember that we already said that this is just a concept and looks pretty lovely on paper. However, we can only wait and see how this turns out when it hits the stores. When it comes to the pricing part, we have also come up with a too good price which can be only good on paper. The 32 GB LTE enabled version comes with a price tag of 200 GBP, 64 GB for 280 GBP and the 128 GB for 360 GGBP.
Now when it comes to reality, we are already aware that Samsung is ready to launch its 12-inch Galaxy Note tablet in future while electronics giant, Asus has also been rumored to work on a 10-inch Nexus 10 tablet.
More rumors on Nexus 8
A Nexus 8 concept image hit the web alongside Nexus 5 and Nexus 11 concepts earlier this year. Then, Nexus 8 was just one of the possible names for the new 2013 Android tablet. The Nexus 9 rumors started to surface again when an image spotted on Google’s Nexus 7 page showed us a tablet that looked nothing like a new Nexus 7 unit. However, Google updated the page by then and removed the image, which mostly looks like a Photoshop image. Also, in addition to this there was another Nexus 8 image that has been discovered on the Nexus landing page which brought back the rumors.
This below image however, might not be a Nexus 8. Yet, there are high chances that it is another Photoshop image which actually might explain the very thin bezel of the device Also, the below image that is part of the same set of photos taken for Google shows that it is in fact a Nexus 7 tablet held by the same person.
However, having said all this, none of these rumors present any solid evidence for a Nexus 8. There were leakages of the Nexus 7 and Nexus 5 products earlier and if there is really a Nexus 8, the traces should have been out by now. Meanwhile, Google did not announce the 2013 model Nexus 10 which is presumed to be in work.
