Moscow: According to the latest rumors, HP is going to release a new tablet running on Android and sporting NVIDIA Tegra 4 processor. If that turns out to be true, then HP would be the first companies to be releasing the tablets running on such processors. Earlier, HP has released Touch Pad tablets which are discontinued now. Those Touch Pad tablets used to run on Web OS operating system. This latest tablet is expected to release in 2013 itself.

According to ReadWrite, unidentified sources which are familiar with the matter claimed that HP is going to release Android based tablet and this tablet would be high end device. This tablet would be powered by NVIDIA Tegra 4 CPU. This processor is one of the latest devices in the techno world as it has been released in Consumer Electronics Show 2013. Another such event is going to be held very soon. In Feb 2013, Mobile World Congress is going to be held in Barcelona. HP is expected to make a formal announcement or might show up a demo of the device in Barcelona publicly. But that might not be happening because till now we didn’t see any news about it. Also, HP is expected to hold a private event to release this tablet. Till then, leaks about this Android tablet will be flocking.

Till now, there are no specs and features leaked about this HP Android tablet. The publication which talked about this tablet has pointed out the probable release of the tablet from this company and didn’t talk about its specs and features. No specs and features of this tablet got leaked except for the information of Tegra 4 processor. Even the product name is not known till now. Images of that expected device didn’t get leaked in to the internet.
