Though the resolution of the tablet is still not known it is expected that it will be 1920 x 1080 pixels.  HP has not entered the high end tablet market till now.  It launched HP Slate 7 recently in the low end tablet market and it is available for a price tag of $170.

It is not confirmed whether the SlateBook 10 X2 will come with hybrid form.  The Book portion in the name suggests that it may have a hybrid form factor just like Asus Transformer Pad.  It is also likely that to be special from other tablets in the market, the HP tablet may feature Beats Audio Technology.

Some people are wondering why the upcoming tablet is names HP X2.  However the company already released a tablet with the name Envy X3 which seems to have the meaning the power of two devices in one product.  The name SlateBook may also indicate that the device may be able to be converted into notebook and also a tablet. It is also possible that the name is nothing special but a brand name.
