HP Slate 8 Pro spotted on GFXBenchmark Listing: Slate 8 Pro with Tegra Processor

HP is coming up with a new tablet which is called the Slate 8 Pro. It will runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly bean operating system. It will be powered by a Tegra processor. There is no information on the launching date of the device.

California: HP is coming with a new Android tablet. A GFXBench listing indicates that the new tablet will be dubbed as HP Slate 8 Pro. Except for a few specifications, there are not much details available about the new HP tablet. The launching date details of the device are also not revealed.

The benchmark results on GFXBench report that HP Slate 8 Pro will be powered by 1.8 GHz NVIDIA Tegra 4 processor. It will sport a display with pixel resolutions 1600 x 1200. The operating system that comes loaded in HP Slate 8 Prot tablet is Android 4.2.2 Jelly bean operating system. The processor is paired with a 2 GB of RAM. It will have 16 GB of internal storage. Apart from the built in storage, additional storage can be added via micro SD Card slot. There is a 5 megapixel primary camera for capturing images and a 2 megapixel front facing camera.

Looking at the specifications, it can be understood that HP Slate 8 Pro tablet is going to be priced affordably. With these specifications and an expected affordable price, HP 8 Pro may face competition from Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 and other upcoming tablets such as iPad Mini from Apple and LG’s upcoming tablet.
