- GoPro Hero 4 Silvercamera does not come with battery charger and it has to be purchased separately for $40 which is overpriced. However it can be charged via USB on computer or a wall charger that costs $14 and is available at Amazon.com
- GoPro Hero 4 Silver camera supports maximum of 64 GB micro SD card. It should have support for 128 GB micro SD card.
- GoPro Hero 4 Silver comes with 1160 mAh battery that gives an hour of continuous use. The battery is replaceable and is included in the package.
- GoPro Hero 4 Silver can be used as a car dashboard recorder also. The user can use the camera to record when it is being charged also.
- GoPro Hero 4 camera is offered in Silver and black color editions. Black color edition is priced $100 more. The black edition is a professional camera but it does not have an LCD screen.
- GoPro Hero 4 Silver can be attached to the motor cycle helmet. There is adhesive attachment or the head strap can be used for this purpose.
- GoPro Hero 4 Silver camera does not support zoom function. But this is not a drawback as the camera shoots in 1080 p 60 frames per second quality that zoom function is not at all needed.
- This camera also records audio. The audio quality is decent but not when the camera is in waterproof case.
- One of the drawbacks of GoPro Hero 4 Silver is that there is no self timer setting
